Also tell me what you think is a bad deal is in terms of percentages. I think a 70-75/25-30 split is a great deal for Golovkin.

They know 15 mill is incredible for him and life changing money but they have to make excuses because GGG looks like a ducking coward

Golovkin would grab 30% in a heartbeat but there is a reason Canelo isn't offering that. He doesn't want the fight.

Exactly when you factor in the fact that the cable providers take 50% of the PPV, where is all this money coming from? Let's say they make 15 million from the live gate(Canelo/Cotto did 12m), and sell 2million ppv. that's 85 million, now this is the total revenue. If people think boxers just take all the profits they must be smoking something good lmao. And I highly exaggerated ppv numbers. I highlllllly doubt this does 2million.

So do the math, how much do you think is 30%? Instead of talking about how canelo doesn't want the fight, prove that 15 million isn't close to a 30% split for GGG.

Percentage works perfectly for both sides. In case this becomes a 100mil. fight, Golovkin doubles the flat fee. If it's a 50mil fight then yes, the flat fee makes sense. All K2 wants is assurance that they get APPROPRIATE pay in case this turns into a mega-fight.

But that would of course be too easy to accept and GBP doesn't want that, hence the shiddy flat fee.

So you guys expect GGG to get double what he's being offered right now? For example I keep hearing figures being thrown around like "100 million", in revenue so let's forget GBP, sponsors, investors, HBO, everybody making money and give Canelo and GGG percentages based off "100 million".. GGG with a 30% stake would net 30 mill, holy ****ing **** 30 mill for beating Lemieux.. WOW.... so you clowns really think Canelo is going to make 70 mill or close to?

GGG wants a 40% cut of the revenue generated by the PPV, God knows how much money Canelo would ultimately make from it, all with the help of GGG, they need each other, Canelo's PPV numbers are starting to drop off, because people don't want to see him fight scrubs, same goes with GGG's ratings, the people want to see them fight each other.

15 Mill is fine, but why take 15 when if you hold out, you could possibly get 20, 30 or 40, maybe even more. It seems like all the Mayweather fans would be all on GGG's side defending his ass, after all.... this is a business and GGG's gotsta get paid...

Canelo's numbers aren't dropping off at all. His numbers are consistently in the 300k range and up. That's not a fall off by no means.

The only thing I can defend GGG on waiting this out is because the fight is not offered next. After this Jacobs fight, and after Canelo's next fight the fight needs to be offered next for it to be a TRUE duck for me.

Cotto PPV 900, Khan PPV 600, Smith PPV 300, that's what I'd call one hell of a precipitous drop off actually.

If GGG is a nobody then why should Canelo even make a fight him?

You can bet on the duck. Canelo wants a rematch clause in the JCC contract. Canelo/GGG ain't happening this year.
