Calling out a GGG fan to prove that the 15m offer is a bad deal with math.

:risas3: This thread was started to give the Canelo Trolls the opportunity to spout nonsense.

:bandit:We have seen the offers go from 8 million flat

to 8 million plus some percentage of the PPV revenue

    to 10 million

now up to 15 million flat.

O$car the Dodger LOW-BALLED the initial offer... then GBP has continued upping the offers to now almost double it.

:eyebrow2: Meanwhile the Canelo Trolls continue to be SHOCKED at the amount being offered from the beginning ...
insisting GGG/K2 should accept these offers (now FOUR) while Cocaine O$car keeps

    RAISING ONE OFFER AFTER ANOTHER.

Attempting to justify Cocaine O$car/GBP/Canelo's actions is

ABSOLUTE NONSENSE... buts it's fun making these TROLLS look like FOOLS !

It would be a guess! We need to know what the PPV and live gate numbers are. If the fight makes 100mil there is roughly 50mil left to split after the TV stations take their cut and what not. 30% is 15 mil and the remainder is 35 mil. If Golovkin believes the fight will generate more than 100 mil then yeah, hold out for a 30% cut.

What Canelo made for the Mayweather fight is irrelevant to this fight. Additionally no 'offer' is serious unless it includes PPV upside.

It's called negotiating! It's ugly and cut throat! The reason Oscar keeps upping the ante is because he knows this is the fight of 2017! This fight should do very well and a flat fee could mean G leaves a lot of money on the table if it is a huge success! Of course G could have provisions in the contract to state he gets a flat fee of 15 mil but, if the fight exceeds a certain number of sales and revenue he gets a percentage of the spoils as well. Or as I mentioned before, take the flat fee now and negotiate a rematch clause were he gets 40% in the second installment.

    :risas3: Hhmmmm...

If there is a rematch and GGG was the winner of the first fight...

:bandit:K2/GGG will DEMAND a bit more than 40 PERCENT !!!

Agreed! As far as negotiations are going now it would be beneficial for G to put a rematch clause in with certain criteria in writing now! Of course if the negotiations for the second fight started after he won the first he could seek a higher percentage. I'm speaking in terms of how he could make the first fight happen for a flat fee of 15 mil. Take the short money now and get a larger portion in the rematch.

 HHhmmm.... GGG is the Middleweight Champion with 3 belts. The way O$car/GBP/Canelo have treated him is distasteful.

Canelo is the challenger with.... what again ? Oh yeah, Mexican fans, many who have already turned on him.

If GGG wins in his usual fashion... KO/TKO, we are not likely to see a rematch.

:bandit: IMO K2/GGG want as little to do with GBP as possible. It would take MEGA $$$ for GGG to consider a rematch.

You are correct when you say G brings the belts but, unfortunately for G, Canelo puts the asses in the seats and gets people to buy PPV much better than G does! I think Canelo can get a big PPV fight without G, whereas G cannot. Canelo is a proven commodity in this regard G is not. I'm not saying it's right(it's not) but that's the way it is. Oscar may bump it up to 20 mil before it's all said and done. In all honesty, G needs to concentrate on Jacobs in March and forget about Canelo in the fall of 2017. if G loses to Jacobs, what little bargaining power he has, is gone with the wind.

This fight isn't gonna get made publicly like fishnets is trying or at least putting it out there right now, before they dropped the belt Oscar said stay by your phone and any negotiations will be done privately right,so now he suddenly had a change of heart?gtfoh Oscar just putting it out there knowing K2 ain't gonna take any so called offers ten months away as so much could happen before then?
