Gutted, that was a really good fight. Dount it gets rearranged as im sure Canelo will fancy this fight.

 

Very disappointing. That was guaranteed to be an entertaining and very competitive contest.

 

I know we’re in a pandemic and anyone can catch it but how many times do British fighters manage to miss out on huge fights and huge opportunities. As the previous poster says, it probably won’t happen now and Johnson is highly unlikely to get another shot. It was a winnable fight and he isn’t getting Bivol or Beterbiev any time soon. He’s got to hope that Uncle Bob keeps him in mind.

Such a shame, was looking forward to it and was glad to see Johnson get the chance to impress on a big show.

 

This is why I think the British board were right to suspend right now. I reckon most fighters in camp in the UK or us unless in a bubble or already had it will get it. They are pushing their bodies harder than most and pick up colds and the like anyway due to this and making weight. Chuck in covid which nearly everyone I know has had or has right now....

 

No chance it gets re-arranged as Canelo will probably want to fight Smith.

Frank should just do Yarde v Johnson in March or April - that fight doesn't need a title and would draw big ratings.

 

Tough luck Callum. I can imagine Frank Warren offering the Smith fight to his no.1 light heavy Yarde next time.

Richards hinting he’s taking the fight. I think with that short a notice joe smith jr will smoke him mid rounds.

 

Boxers put tweets out like this all the time to get attention and traffic to their pages.

I doubt he will be the one.

 

Shame for Callum. You’d imagine that was his final opportunity and now that ship has sailed.

 

Warren will be shitting himself if Richards gets the shot - Warren had that WBO belt tied up between his fighters this season.
