Whatever happens Beale should get binned. I’d be ok with anyone who plays good attacking football. Knutsen or Muscat.

Even if the board can’t get who they want quickly, just get rid of Beale and bring in Neil Warnock as an interim manager until Xmas. The guy would do that job for free, has a home in Dunoon and would at least organise a team. I’m astonished a sacking hasn’t been announced yet tonight.

 

Murty done a very good job when stepping in as first team manager and he was also very good with developing young players.

It went South in the end simply because the players were 2 levels below the Celtic Team at the time.

McCoist, Pedro, Warburton and Beale all talked a good game but did not deliver as managers.

The club is broken and needs a serious rebuild starting in the Boardroom.

 

I would also go for the guy who was in charge of Frankfurt when they won against us as he left when they sold players.

Got friends close to Dundee who tell horror stories about McCann's rampant ego there and how it all fell apart. Said he should never get near another club again. Apparently his nice-guy TV character and tactical nous is all an act.

 

Back to the boxing - Quarless had high opinions of himself but he's not exactly backing it up so far. Looks like an average British fighter, Riley isn't particularly troubled.

 

Scott Bain said he was a complete arse. He’s not a very good manager either. I was at a derby at Dens when he had Scott Allan playing as a left winger.

What I meant re: McCann is that, if Rangers can’t get someone in that they really want then they might get an ex player currently out of work to fill the gap. I don’t think it’ll actually be him.

In fairness Dubois hit her straight back but the fight isn't the walkover they're making out.

One of the better women's fights I have watched.
