Thought Simpson did well on sat.
Macias just wasn't given enough credit imo.
In his last 4 fights they were all top 25 ranked opponents.
1 of them he cleaned out in the 5th(butler) and his last opponent is ranked 14th in the world. Top 3 with ibf and wba and top 5 with wbo n wbc (bazinyan) he's trained alongside beterbiev (baz) and was 29-0 going in.
After 8 rds the comms and 1 judge had it even. At the end 1 judge had bazinyan 2 rds up the other 3rds and other 4 rds. He nearly took bazinyan out in the 7the too.
Just don't think it was pushed how dangerous macias could be. He also brought all his family over, his kids were watching ringside so u know he's putting a right shift in. He retired after and said Simpson was best lad he'd ever fought.
To say it was simpsons 13th and only 2nd competative fight, I thought he did really well.
