Beterbiev only win’s by knockout but it’s gonna be very hard for him to KO Smith who is way taller than him. I still think Beterbiev will win but this might have to bd his very first decision victory and it would be shame for him to lose that KO record.

Smith will go down by bodyshot.

Beterbiev said that he won amateur championship by just bodyshots. imagine the experience.

Smith looked completely helpless against Canelo and had a poor performance against Ryder. The physicality of Beterbiev should crush him. That being said, I think Smith is a lethal puncher at 175 and he has a chance at finding a sweet spot if Beterbiev shows his age.

Beterbiev steamrolls Smith, unless his age catches up to him.

I’d prefer to see Callum smith vs Joe smith jr, that would be an entertaining swing up while it lasts

Nah Beterbiev isn't going to have any difficulty crushing Smith. Yeah he's tall but he lacks head movement and he doesn't counter punch which means he leads a lot and that's going to give Beterbiev plenty of chances to trade and catch Smith when he's throwing.

Didn't Beterbiev already stop a tall, skilled, hard hitter once before? Granted, that was 4 years ago, but the point is we have seen him handle length and power before.

Don't see how it can be a bad fight for him if you think Beterbiev if you think he'll win anyway. It can be a tough fight for him, but a bad one even though you still think he'll pull out the W? Doesn't make much sense to me.

Inaccurate statement, yes all his wins have come by KO but you make it sound like he’s not able to win a decision. He’s had a few KO’s come in the championship rounds which he would’ve won by decision.

Dont think he cares too much about keeping the KO record.

He was drained vs Canelo to be fair, i don't think that was a true representation of what Smith is truly capable of. I still favour Beterbiev in the fight don't get me wrong but Smith in his recent fight at 175 showed good power, and Beterbiev has been hurt and dropped before by fighters not on the same level of Smith. I think it will be a surprisingly good fight like the Yarde fight was.

Beterbiev is the real champion, he is always trying to fight sooner rather than later, no excuse making, so hard working, full on action, no BS & is so consistent, a bright spot in the sport today, he deserves it.
