He ain't beatin' DeGale! I'd be interested to know why you think he could land clean....
He seems a bit 'Eurobot' to me, legit power in straight punches for sure but at the elite level you need that x-factor which he hasn't shown so far IMO.

C smith looks top notch. The way he blew away rocky fielding was impressive and I rated rocky before the fight and I still do as at least European level

168 is weak at the moment and smith can take it over IMO. Unfortunately he is a big lad and will IMO pretty soon have to move to 175 which is completely packed with monsters and he won't get much of a look in there at world level

It was the left hook that got Rocky first wasn't it? Quality to the body aswell.

Uh...I was referring to Callum Smith not DeGale! Read again.

Obviously DeGale is anything but an orthodox 'European robotic' style fighter. That's why he beats Smith all ends up.

N.B If you want to see a black fighter with a stand-up 'European' stereo-typical style there are plenty! Steve Robinson comes to mind first....

I still think Campbell is close behind. Minor hiccup.

I'm not so sure he was clearly losing that fight and couldn't find a way to adapt. From what I remember he just kept picking his shots and moving as if he was a few rounds up. When he did plant his feet and throw his opponent walked right through him and landed the better which is another reason some think he should move down a weight.

I just put a post about him in the main forum so some comments and support in there would be nice, he is going all the way.
