Callum aged only 28, ( same age as Ward when he won the ss ), wins the super six in a brutal fashion.

It was crisp punching at its best. Brutal hooks, torpedo like rights and terrifying uppercut combined with epic body punches.

It WAS the best super six finish in history.

We are not talking a dull 12rd hug maul but a brutal spanking of top rated George groves which only lasted 7rd.

Callum has the world as his oyster now.

He could easily emulate all of Wards resume and then some. Being so close to them already.

Like i said before. Best is still yet to come as he is only going to get better.

Given his size and his draw appeal now i would go after a drained LHW. Someone who is well known, and with a solid name.

Someone like Kovalev.... Get kov drained down to SM and smash him up.

Only then go conquer LHW division. Stevensons and jacks alike will be old and battered.

Then CW division, something Ward never tried or considered. Should be too hard, boy has the frame for it.

    Who nesh?

    The train starts.

perhaps, its a long trek but quite possible.

First he needs to go past Calzaghe and Froch, lets see him pass em. Already passed Chunky.

We want unifications. Let him fight the other weight cutters lurking around the division.

Way too soon to talk about LHW, so cruiserweight is laughable.

He's a quality fighter. Clean out 168 first - Ward did that.

Long road? He is about 5 fights away from ward resume? :risas3:

He has already surpassed Frochowski who retired on just the tought of facing GGG:risas3:.

Calzaghes record is defo a hard long road. I will agree with you there harrol.

Who is this Ward fellow? Did he used to fight in the same division that Callum Smith rules with imperious might?

You really do want him to emulate Ward don't you, changing the name of WBSS to SuperSix and then hoping he drains a career LHW for an easier win before moving up to LHW?

Nah, let Smith build his own path, he's got some decent domestic paydays with Degale, Eubank and maybes even a rematch with Rocky. I don't mind him taking those as the top of SMW still needs some refinement and some of the matches are hard to make politically.

We have Smith, Benevidez and Zurdo who imo, none have hit their prime though harder to tell with Zurdo as he doesn't get the fights. You also have Uzcategui who probably is at his peak but has only just ascended to the top five.

Those are the fights to make but they aren't going to happen straight away. Smith is easily big enough to do LHW so probably will at somepoint as will Benevidez but for now we have a fairly open division with young exciting fighters, business looks like it's going to pick up.

    Time will tell, gee.
    World is his oyster.
And Wards resume is the next target in sight.

Join the train Gee, or forever be bitter.
