So (according to boxing social YouTube video) the Smith v Canelo fight is verbally agreed. As much as I like this fight I'd rather see Callum V BJS, then winner gets Canelo!

I thought Canelo v BJS was the one that’s a done deal. I think Canelo beats them both by KO but BJS might take a bit longer as he’s slick, whereas Smith will walk in straight lines with his hands high and Canelo will bully him with body shots.

I would say I’m not bothered which fight I see but personally I think Smith deserves it more.

I might be the only one on here, but if Callum Smith fights Canelo next and their are no silly rehydration clauses, he beats Canelo (might not get result). Both have strengths that can really trouble each other it's a matter of who gets their strengths into play the best. If this happens and alongside Fury v Wilder that would be two Brits in super fights this year.

I personally can’t see him beating him. No offence to Ryder but if he can bully him then Canelo will be able to do the same but even better. Canelo’s inside game will be too strong for him and I think he’ll walk through Smiths jab to get on the inside. He cuts off the ring so well as well.

I mean I’d loved to be proved wrong though!

I agree if he fights like he did v Ryder he will get knocked out. He had no fear of Ryder and he went in too casual. When he has went into fights when people have thought he might lose, Fielding for British, Mohoumadi for European and Groves for the world he turned up and flattened them all (obviously Canelo is another level from them all). Smith would be a total different fighter v Canelo. P4P Canelo Is better fighter, at 168, I'm not too sure. Either way i think either would need a career best performance too win.

Verbally agreed means nothing. You can verbally agree with 4 opponents at the same time.

I actually agree that Smith wasn’t his best v Ryder but like the old saying goes “You’re only as good as your last fight”. I think the first 3 rounds Smith will probably win in a cagey few rounds, after that Canelo will work him out and get on the inside, after that he’ll slowly ground him out.

I think we both know that they’ll be a rehydration clause in there though which well and truly swings it towards Canelo in my eyes.

    Wish it was BJS instead.

Canelo would be doing EVERYBODY a favour by handing him his behind!

    Timber!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
    The Plank gets spanked!!!!

Canelo is much better than Ryder who really did beat the brakes off Smith
Actually prefer Plank getting the pay day, hopefully Doodoo gives Saunders a beating and Saunders gets peanuts for it

Saunders is scum of the earth as his antics outside of the ring suggest
I would **** on him if he was on fire, but would make sure not to put the fire out lol

At 175 I'd favour Smith with the extra size and easier time making weight. At 168 I'd have to go with the one time weight bully but I wouldn't be surprised if Smith beat him.

This match up should interest me but just doesn't
Would prefer seeing Canelo try to negate BJS slickee style

I want to see either Canelo vs Smith or Canelo vs Saunders and if not then Smith vs Saunders. Happy if any one out of the 3 happens next.

I know that boxing isn’t as straight forward as boxer A can beat boxer B and therefore as boxer C is better than A he must be able to beat B ! But if the Smith that fought Ryder is a true reflection of his ability he would get blown away by Canelo !

I had John Ryder winning that fight but to be honest, I don't think that was a true reflection of Smith.... I think he went in there on the night expecting to do a demolition job and his head wasn't on the job 100%.

Would expect a FAR better Callum Smith to turn up should he get the Canelo fight...
