Both fighters looked a bit troubled in that round, Smith is staying on the ropes against a light puncher that is worrying - imagine what happens when Groves begins to unload. Smith has been rocked a couple of times suprisingly. Hard round to score but I edge it to Rebrasse, I have him one up.

If Callum gets through this it should be a reality check for Eddie. It's too soon by at least a year for Smith to be taking on Groves. Fielding is the natural fight. Baffled as to why Eddie is holding back on that one as Rocky aint winning a world title any time soon (i.e. ever).

I have It level again after 8.

I think the commentary is awful, ridiculously bias.

Smith evens it up and takes the 8th round with some clean punching. Rebrasse looked a bit gassed and was holding and on Smith's chest, the body punching of Smith is a bit more effective, but how much that round took out of both men will be interesting. Smith could start pulling away if he sticks to that jab and avoids a war.

Rebrasse doesn't have the bang to land eye catching shots for the judges. Thats what will lose him the fight.

Smith takes the 9th and pulls ahead and Rebrasse is gassing badly. Smith has impressed by showing he has another gear when needed and Rebrasse is a good fighter, very good learning fight. Has Rebrasse saved anything for the championship rounds?
