Hearn has mentioned a Liverpool show on November 7th. Hopefully it's on that.

Can't see this fight happening this year next Autumn maybe.

Hearn will guide them on different routes. For what it's worth I would pick Smith to win.

Both fighters are on the rise and can meet down the line, good to see as well that the fight would sell itself both fighters confident of beating the other. No silly trash talking needed.

Fielding and Smith seem to think the fight is agreed whilst talking on twitter...

Well that is good news if it does happen.

When fighters are under the same banner history tells you they rarely meet at this point.

Would be a fight I would love to see happen this year.

Hope so mate. His brothers were saying they were glad it's happening as did tony bellew. Sounds promising. Just hope Hearn doesn't keep them apart.

Me too. In fairness I can see Hearn's reasoning and would find it acceptable if he did keep them apart, but I think the fact that guys like DeGale & Groves, as well as Saunders & Eubank fought at a similar stage actually helped both fighters.

Hearn has so many good 168lb fighters he will have to match some of them at some point imo.

Boxing is a business it is a fight that would sell out the Echo arena and make both good money.

Hearn if both fighters want it now should make it happen.Hearn imo would ideally match them next year.

Domestic fights in this country can certainly generate decent box office and TV interest.Push both fighters on win or lose providing the fight is competitive, reputations enhanced.A rematch down the line becomes very lucrative.

Groves-DeGale had a flat 320k purse split for their meeting at the O2.Add on's for buys sure they earned more.

Groves-DeGale 2 down the line the first fight purse figures look cheap right?A rematch will bank both seven figure purses, flat let alone PPV.

How much do you reckon Smith v Fielding will generate at this stage? :think
