Great fight between 2 tough men. Fair play to both of them. Would definitely watch again.

 

2 cards a little wide should of been atleast 1 115-112 but oh well the right man won.

 

Good contest. More entertaining than I expected. Groves would pick Smith apart if they end up meeting.

Skoglund is a nice boxer and a gentlemam, hope he gets a title shot soon.
Scores were too wide IMO, but the right guy won

 

Skoglund should stay at 168, seems to make the weight well and lasted the 12 rounds fighting at a pretty good pace. 175 is a shark tank right now whereas 168 is chock full of B level fighters with no elite talent and I think Skoglund would fit into a lot of competitive fights at the weight.

I had it quite wide in the end (117-111) but rounds 1 (10-10 for me), 8 and 10 (both of which I gave to Smith) could well have gone either way. Skoglund acquitted himself very well.

 

Don't think Skogland deserved those scorecards. His performance was much better than that.
