Callum Smith vs Erik Skoglund WBSS Quarter-final match RBR

Good fight. I'd have it Smith by 3/4. He will get exposed at the next level imo. He's kind of flatfooted and not enough head movement imo. Reminds me of his brother that Canelo beat.

Very good and competitive fight. I expected more from Smith though. He did not deal with the jab of Skoglund very well, and would have lost imo if not for the difference in punching power. That counter right from Smith in the 11th was a real beauty though.

He is imo the worst boxing commentator broadcasting today, loves the sound of his own voice, he has a radio background and brings that style to the TV and it just doesn't work for me, telling you everything you can see. This cnut doesn't pause for breath and he spoiled the coverage of a very good fight and TV production imo.

 

Smith won by a few on my card but I don't think he was exposed at all. Skoglund is a tough customer with solid skills, I think he has great potential.

Badou Jack vs Skoglund would be good, I still think Smith would ice Jack who is chinny, Skoglund might too!!

 

I've never been fully sold on Smith, and always believed his power and skillset was being overrated by the Sky Sports / Matchroom hype machine.

 

It's overrated you have to take boxing when it's available you can **** anytime

 

If Yarde has as much potential as people say, you'd really think Frank Warren would be moving him along quicker, instead of just sticking him in there with cans he'll bowl over in double-quick time while learning nothing.

 

The commentator just goes on and on with really cliche stuff

My Mrs said to me tonight ' I don't mind watching the boxing with you but I don't think I can anymore if this wanker is commentating'

 

Would you have him any other way? His habit is achieving meme status.
