Callum Smith vs Erik Skoglund WBSS Quarter-final match RBR

Callum Smith is the best body puncher in the game and would make Ramirez and Benavidez look like small 168lbers. He has more power than both of them too and is a lot tougher than Benavidez. I rate Ramirez a lot higher than Benavidez at this stage. I think Smith would be Benavidez worst nightmare. Smith would take away his size advantage and bang his soft body to pulp. Gilberto slick skills that make it a 50/50 for me, I might even slightly edge Gilberto at this stage.

Damn Parker just ****ed Blackledge up with one shot! 1 punch first round KO for Zach Parker.

 

Zach Parker has just destroyed Luke Blackledge. Brutal hook quickly followed up with a right deposited Blackledge on the canvas. He got up but was on unsteady legs and wobbled towards the corner and the ref waved it off.
Nice performance but Blackledge was shaken up from the first punch he took - he looks a bit shot.
I like what I saw from Parker, well balanced and a nice jab. He also showed uppercuts and a nice repetoire of punches in that brief performance.

 

This tourney would've been every bit as good as cruiser if they got the best super middles, Degale, Ramirez, Benevidez. Skoglund is going to get schooled then broken down and stopped.

I'm watching the undecard atm and so far it's good.

 

I think people overrate how big Ramirez is. He has the frame to move up but right now he is real skinny.

 

I just watched Erik Skoglund's wife preparing "vegables" for him.

 

Skogie is coming down from LHW, so he might be able to take Smith's power being used to bigger men's punch...

I think that came out wrong.
