I like Ryder, but when you see the two facing off against each other it will put the size difference into perspective. It will look like a cruiserweight vs a middleweight.

I can't see past Smith in this one.

Maybe this is the fight where making the weight catches up with the plank. Imagine if he ran out of gas like a stranded whale, with Ryder "whaling a tune" on the big lug. Sooner or later it'll catch up on the plank and he will get flattened.

hows he a size bully when he comfortably makes weight. The weight is not an issue for Callum whatsoever.

Go and wank of your little pillowfisted leprechaun midgets.

Ryder has deserved his shot, hope he gets well paid.

Even if he loses plenty of good fights for him afterwards, Eubank, Lemiuex etc.

I hate it when clowns call dwarfs the greatest of all time then have the cheek to call heavyweights bums.

The big bum will absolutely flatten the dwarf goat, don't make any sense to me.

I think they should abolish weight divisions.

No need for them, we need to see who the real greatest is imo.

Nobody ever called an under 45kg bloke the greatest rugby player lol

Smith will win this handily. Ryder was a middle and is only what 5’9”. With his advantages Smith only has to do the basics (which he is brilliant at) to probably 60% of his capabilities and it’ll be a comfortable nights work. Ryder will probably have a game plan of roughing Callum up but he won’t be allowed to get close enough to.

Good on Ryder for taking the challenge, he could have chased Eubank which is very winnable. One things for sure, he won’t go down without a fight.

I'm not fully convinced about the Size Bully Plank. Remember how awful he looked against the middle aged kickboxer? I can't shake the feeling he might be exposed yet. Can't say Ryder is certainly going to do it of course, but he might.

It's a bit like Josh Warrington. He looked mediocre all along. Then he beat Selby & Frampton and suddenly he was a world beater. Then back to looking mediocre again versus KG!!!

Size Bully Plank could fall apart overnight in spectacular fashion.

Ryder has had a good run recently but feel the size of Mundo will just be too much for him. I like the fight.
As he's a mandatory I'm assuming there's no rematch clause?

I doubt they went down the mandatory route. I assume they’ve negotiated purses between them so probably have included a rematch clause.

Good solid fight. No issues here, on normal SKY so all good. Hopefully we get a decent undercard.

Gonna be a good fight in which I expect smith to coast to a comfortable decision but Ryder could as well ruin the party and get a ko with the power he’s carried up

Smith fighting a career middleweight when he’s a huge SMW

    Nothing new to see here

I agree with what you say about Warrington.

I felt Smith struggled most against tall fighters like Skoglund and Rebrasse. With this in mind your size bully point makes sense as when he moves up he certainly won’t be as effective. But there’s nothing wrong with him being able to make 12 stone. Just luck I guess.

    I
Nothing wrong if he can make 12st. But it doesn't make him a great boxer. That's my point. He is a mediocre boxer taking advantage of his freakish natural advantages over "normal" sized super middle's. Not a great boxer.

I don't get the hate for Smith, especially in a division where David Benavidez was basically give the WBC title only to lose it for being a partyboy cokehead.
