Obviously Callum Smith is a massive talent and could / should step it up in class, but where should he go?

There is talk of him stepping down to middleweight and seeing what is happening on the British scene there, but with BJS there I do not think this would be a wise move and if anything could slow him down.

So then if he were to step up to Light Heavy, where in my opinion is where he will fight for world titles in the future, it would present him with Tony Bellew as the current British Champion. However with Bellew the mandatory for a world title and also being scouse, maybe he would give up the British title and let Callum Smith fight for it, maybe against Bob Ajisafe or Travis Dickinson??

That would leave us with the mouth watering prospect of having all 4 of the brothers British champion at the same time, as well as pushing CS up in class and seeing how he fares at Light Heavy

    What are your thoughts?

He's not going to fight BJS he will wait until he vacates it then fight for vacant belt. The light heavy is vacant bellew vacated earlier this year as he was supposed to decent it against ajisafe.

Although it would be an unbelievable achievement for all 4 brothers to hold the Lonsdale Belt at the same time I dont think it would be wise for Callum to move up/down in weight right now.

He's just learning the trade at the minute and moving up/down could backfire IMO. Imagine him draining himself to make Middleweight and not being able to perform, one bad night in boxing and a lot of peoples opinions can quickly change. Also I dont see the need in him moving upto Light-Heavy just yet too, hes hardly had to take a shot at Super-Middle so we dont know how he would hold up at that weight when he hets hit clean on the chin yet, never mind against the heavier guys.

Paul has said he will get a quick defence in then vacate the title right away for Callum to fight for it. I imagine it would be against Fielding or possibly Buglioni, maybe even Tony Dodson? IMO he is better off staying where he is for the time being.

Stepping down? He must be near killing himself to make super middleweight?

6 KO1's on the trot and the hype machine is going through the roof.

What he needs is rounds. What he doesn't need is hype.

Who wants to see another Price or Cleverly. Gallagher and Hearn need to be a bit smarter than that.

Really don't see him stepping down to middleweight either apparently he makes 168lbs comfortably enough at present.Making 160lb I can't see how he would do that safely the fella is massive height wise.

Should stay where he is 175lbs is for the future.

The old saying comes to mind if it isn't broke don't fix it if he has to wait for his brother to vacate so be it.
