I just had a look on Boxrec and he hasn't fought since November. Is he injured or is there a fight coming up?

Been injured, I believe he is fighting on the Birmingham May 9th card ahead of a potential Fielding clash for the British title but there has been no word on whether that is definitely happening.

Thanks for the info. Does anyone think he will get the opportunity to avenge his big brother's losses against Abraham as Paul offhandedly intimated?

He is a terrific fighter and if hand injuries do not halt his progress will become a 2 weight world champion in time imo. I just hope he don't lose power as he has had two hand injuries in last 18 months that have kept him out of action for most of that time. This is what happened to Calzaghe but he had the speed and the movement to still be world class without power, unfortunately Smith don't have those qualities in abundance.

Don't see him in there with fielding. Not for the British Anyway. Eddie won't want that - his biggest ticket seller (rocky ) and his brightest prospect in a fight where it's guarenteed one will lose (cal beats rock IMO)

Callum is expected to be out on one of the May cards, I'd imagine he'll have an 8 rounder in brum then be on stand by for any pull outs for London show...
Tbh he's been in active but the head way he'd already made will stand him in good stead, as someone says let's hope the injuries haven't had a lasting effect though.

Eddie will save rocky vs callum for ppv and let all you lucky lucky fans watch for just 17 quid of your hard earned dough.
