It was a huge win for him. And he won in spectacular fashion. Dude, this happend after EVERY fight...so just take what's said with a grain of salt.

Donaire is the truth.

That was an amazing KO, in a fight with two top guys. That's what you want to see in a boxing match, this fight should be cherished and so should Donaire, he's the future of the sport after Pacquiao, including Andre Ward etc.

Mayweather is 34 years old, he's the past.

 

Yes because you say so, or because he is beating up on midgets? He hasn't none of the speed and power of Gamboa, he doesn't hit as hard as Lopez or de leon, guys that had been knocking fighters their own size, he doesn't have the speed of Berto, so how do you came out with "his more talented" he never won an Olympic Gold medal, he has take advantage of his size and natural talent to beat up on guys smallest than him, I'll had done the same thing if I was him, I'm not beating on the guy, but lets wait and c how he does against guys his size, then we can all say, wow he is the new star or we knew he was a hyped job.

 

Hype surrounding a big win happens. Everyone wants to talk about it, and make their own threads, even if it's exactly the same as another poster's. But it's enteresting, and exciting at first.

I agree it does get old to a certain extent, mainly for me, it's the same threads getting made over and over, with no new perspectives on things. But once you've been here long enough, we're almost all guilty of making un-original threads.

And to top off the subject, it's doubly exciting to everyone when a brutal ko outcome, between two p4p type fighters occurs.

Donaire is a great, exciting fighter, so expect to hear ALOT of people wanting to talk about him, and the potential his career has.

ive been watching boxing for close to 15 years and i havent seen talent like that in a while. he is the complete package. he can do it all basically. and what i like most is that he thinks in the ring. you can actually see him trying to figure his opponent out. once he s figured u out, its lights out. all the fighters you mentioned are lacking in at least one area. donaire has no visible flaws. maybe he s the truth.
