****..just read on the site that talks boxing that Calvin Brock has lost vision in his right eye. He had surgery on it after the Chambers fight to fix a detached retina, but blood stopped flowing to the eye cells. He has no vision in one eye for now. Thats sad, Brocks a good guy, reminds you that boxing is no joke.

So, if I'm reading this right, it's as a direct result of the Chambers fight? Damn..

He was asked that in the interview, he said before that fight he was fine so he kinda hinted that it was from to the Chambers fight. I saw the fight and Brock took a lot of jabs to the face, so its make sense.

Are there any indications that he might get it back with further surgeries?

He will be in my prayers.

what's worse is that he hasnt got anything from boxing to show for it. a sacrifice for no return real shame. i hope he does well in what ever he does.

Quick! Get Vitali on the phone... sounds like the IDEAL candidate for his comeback opponent!

...if only we can convince him to put on 100lbs first. :think

Brock really is one of the good guys in boxing. I hear he is pretty smart and successful outside of boxing. Best of luck Calvin!!
