If Calzaghe wins, how would your rank of both him and B-Hop change in terms of ATG standings (if at all)? B-Hop is an ATG, but he is 73 years old. Is Calzaghe SUPPOSED to win this one, or do you consider him the underdog? If you thought B-hop was completely overmatched in the first place, would this outcome make you think he sucked even more - or place Calzaghe higher on your all-time list?

If B-Hop wins, how does your ranking of both fighters change? He is past his prime, but still a very smart, good fighter - but is going up against a buzz-saw of a fighter. Is he *supposed* to win? If you didn't think he could win the fight in the first place, and he actually pulls it off, does that mean that Calzaghe must not be very good, or does that mean that Hopkins is even more of an ATG than many gave him credit for?

I keep going back and forth in my head on my prediction of the fight. I think B-Hop is going to win a close, ugly decision with lots of holding and mauling, and it'll be a tough fight to score.

If (when) B-Hop wins, I'll put B-Hop into legendary status because I think Calzaghe is certainly one of, if not the, toughest assignment of his career. Calzaghe's reputation will drop in my eyes, because he is so hyped up now that he certainly shouldn't lose against an old-man with diminished skills.

If Calzaghe wins, I don't think my ratings of the two will change too much. Calzaghe is much closer to his prime (or still in it), and is so hyped up right now that he seemingly should win the fight. He would have to completely dominate from the first bell to the last in order for me to really rank him higher than I do now.

If Calzaghe wins, I would probably bump him up a few spots on the top 100 list since Hopkins is still considered a top 4 P4P fighter and the RING light heavyweight champion. However, his ranking wouldn't improve too much since he should win and since Hopkins isn't nearly the fighter he once was.

If Hopkins wins, I would put him in the top 10-15 of all time. At his age with his declining timing, speed, and accuracy, to beat Calzaghe would be HUGE.

What about if either dominated either? How a fight is won is used to rate by me.

If Joe shut out Hopkins or beat him up and then KO'd him then he would move up a good bit.

If Hopkins shuts out or KO'd Joe :scaredas:. Then he goes very high up.

If Calzaghe shuts Hopkins out or TKOs him, I would move him into the top 60-65.

If Hopkins dominated Calzaghe or stopped him, I would put him in the top 10.

    A very good bit!

Actually, I'm not convinced about this. It would be another feather in his cap, but hardly his crowning achievement.

The problem is, too many fanboys around here hanging from Calzaghe's scrotum.

Yeah, I should have made 4 questions I guess. It's a good point.

If Calzaghe wins a close decision..

If Calzaghe dominates for lopsided win..

    If Hopkins wins close..

If Hopkins dominates for lopside win..

I think Hopkins stands to gain hugely whether he wins big or a close one.

A close Calzaghe victory would mean, in my mind, that both fighters are great and neither goes up or down in rankings.

Calzaghe, in my mind, needs a dominate victory to go up in my rankings and has more to lose than Hopkins because of the age factor combined with the fact that he's so skilled.

Oh please, Joe would be his best win for his entire career. An elite, p4p top ranked, natural SMW who is undefeated and well regarded universally. Also a horrible style for him.

Don't tell me Tito or Winky means more, or Tarver.

It would sure as hell be a lot more impressive than beating Trinidad, De La Hoya, Wright, Tarver, Johnson, and Joppy.
