Hopkins or Taylor(if he beat Pavlik in the rematch) are the two biggest money fights out there for Calzaghe.

The article actually says one more year, so I reckon 2 more fights. He wants the retirement paydays now, so I reckon RJ (in Wales) and Hop (in the US, maybe).

Either Hopkins or Wright. If he beats either of them, Calzaghe's legacy will be highly remembered.

No way in the world joe will get jones jr to fight him in wales..

Even though roy is not in his prime he would still command more money etc if the bout was to go ahead..

You must forget that Joe NEEDS these guys on his his resume so if he wants these bouts he better get over his fear of flying..

It would be a cold day in hell before calzaghe gets top billing over Living legends like jones jr and b-hop..

It'd be a shame because he has been wasting his talent on these no namer all of these years. I say he should fight at least another 2-3 times before he hangs it up. In a legacy sense, he really needs a Hopkins fight. For money he could also go for the winner of Pavlik/Taylor II. If he wants another belt in another division against another top young lion, Chad Dawson would be a ******* of a fight.

The Hopkins fight though would be the bet choice for money and legacy.

He said at least 37 times that his next fight would be at LHW.

    And it never happened.

Should we believe him this time? :think

I'd personally like to see him go out with Hopkins ............. Just a damn shame this didnt happen yrs ago..........Im a big fan of Joe's but there will always be too many "What if's" next to his name & because of this his haters will always have ammunition..........sad really...

Hopkins of course, both are past primes, but as far as legacy goes the best at 160 and 168 over the past decade.

yeah but the guy has held a belt for 10 years and if he defends it 2 more times he will be the longest reigning champion (ok titlist) and most defnces of a super middlewieght belt.

thats one reason why he shouldnt just fight at light heavy for no reason
