He just needs Pavlik and Dawson after RJJ to basically recieve the same regard as this, the rest are decent fighters, but not name value, or 'elite' like Dawson would be.

Finishing up with RJJ(which is minimal), Pavlik(very solid win) and Dawson(fantastic win) with his already established resume would place him above a lot of guys in greatness, establish him as an argument to be greater than Mayweather for the era also.

His resume is very good already, people act like it's not, those additions just make it even deeper. Plus you have to grade a resume off of performance just as much as the 'W' itself and his performances in victories are mostly very positive or awesome, so like I said, wins without controversy would add very much to Joe.

If Joe does that, boxing knowledge tells us he is the greatest of all-time, rather than being the only factor preventing us from doing so :yep

He also stated, on record, that he would never fight this shot version of Roy Jones Jr.

    Indeed so -

Dawson counts for 3 of the lesser fighters as wins just himself, due to the difficulty with style and level that Dawson provides for Joe. Pavlik's an okay win, would be an better one depending on how he wins, but the guy's style is made for Joe perfect.

Dawson would be the toughest matchup for him out of that list, but here's the only problem with making that fight (I'll put it as kindly as possible): Dawson needs to beat the ever loving **** out of Tarver. I'm talking a 10-2 kind of beatdown or even a KO (added cache since Antonio's never been stopped). Anything less, and I don't think Joe will see the incentive of taking it because he would've already beaten a fighter who dominated a younger Tarver and heard as much complaint as praise. If Chad wants to fight Calzaghe, he's got to fight better than he ever has against Antonio to force the issue.

Personally, i have a tough time seeing that fight come off at all. If Dawson loses/draws/barely wins, he was not impressive enough. If he destroys Tarver, I don't see Calzaghe taking that fight. And you couldn't honestly say Joe is ducking him, as they are part of a different generation.

There are other good fights out there for Joe though, if he sticks around.

Over 85% of people admit that Joe beat Hopkins cleanly and clearly.

15% are romanticists who like to believe Hopkins did more than just land one good punch.

Robin Reid? Have you SEEN that fight? Obviously not.

The only robbery in the Reid fight, was Reid getting a SD.
