OK, forget Calzaghe - Pavlik ... Abraham have better tools to deal with Calzaghe, nice guard preventing from outslapth, good counterpunching and power to test princess of Wales chin. Who takes this one?
Holding your arms up and waiting for your opponent to tire is the one tactic stonecast guaranteed to fail against Calzaghe. Does Abraham have any other tactics?
Abraham couldnt be anymore made for JC, the guard that asks for combinations to be mixed between the body and head, Abraham is way too slow
Exactly, Abraham could not possibly win on points so his only chance would be to land a mega bomb. Calzaghe's chin is way too good for that to work, he's never suffered more than a flash knockdown against big SMWs or at LHW.
JC is one of the worst possible opponents for Abraham. JC outboxes him in a comfortable decision, rendering Abraham with nothing but a puncher's chance, as in the late rounds he lunges foward amauterishly with hooks intented to KO Calzaghe.
Stupid thread - if JC doesn't get old overnight he takes this one on points...he's too much of a pure boxer with formerly underrated physical attributes, it ain't funny...
Be realistic. Outboxing, Arslock Mislogovich from Armenbeckistan isn't the same as outboxing Calzaghe.
Who else did Calzaghe fought at LHW ... beside Hopkins who as I understand is classical example of prime LHW puncher?
