You have caught the wrong end of the stick here. He wasn't referring to ref decisions. If he ever was it is surely the Reid fight he is referring to, none of this other fights were really close. Hopkins is debateable by the minority but clear to the majority. Also he made weight against Jones without any real problem?
Yah, like the HOPKINS fight where his dad told him in the 11th round, "WTF are you doing out there", "you need a knockout"! In the first 7 rounds i can count on two hands how many clean punches joe landed and he got knocked down.
Im much more of a Hopkins fan than a Calzaghe fan, and I believe Joe won that fight. I don't know of any decisions Joe got that he didn't deserve. I cant imagine he would think so.

Ive watched the Hopkins fight 4 times. Ive still scored it for Joe every time. The talk of Joe not landing a clean punch is bunk. Joe was actually THROWING punches, while Hopkins was grabbing, clutching, pushing, and landing about 1 clean right hand for every 20 punches Joe threw Sure, Calzaghe didnt catch Hopkins with banging powershots, but he certainly hit him at a far higher connect percentage, even if the punches were wild. On top of that, Hopkins workrate was ridiculously low, and he was visibly tired in the later rounds and fighting dirty as hell. Calzagge was the one actually slinging leather, not clutching his ball sack in mock pain and then banging elbows during a tie up. Calzaghe won the fight.
He is talking about Strictly Come Dancing, he and everyone else knows he should have gone after the first show.
