Calzaghe probably did cocaine for enjoyment post retirement.

If Calzaghe wanted to use drugs to enhance his performance, he would have taken some better products.

Pernell Whitaker was a crackhead late in his career, but aint no body gonna say that he was on coke during his prime days and that coke was the substance that made him such a defensive genius.

Give Calzaghe the benefit of the doubt and admire his punching power by sitting back and watching this video:-

There should be a limit to the slanderous threads on ESB...I mean..come on..
This 'is' the internet, but do you have to be a '*****' on it? I mean, geesh.. This is suppose to be a boxing forum where 'men' come together and talk about a manly sport..instead....most people turn into a gossiping ninny..

Lol, I came in here thinking somebody said he used steroids. Just that super joe after he retired was doing cocaine.

Joe is not an American cheat. Hopkins and Jones might have been, when he beat them.

I don't know if he did or he didn't. :conf

I'd imagine if he took blood tests at all it would have been in his biggest fights...so, later on in his career? :think

Unless he was snorting a line or swallowing a lot of it on the way to the ring, it couldn't have possibly helped him. Even if he did, he would've lost more than he gained when he started coming down in the middle of the fight. He'd have to dose well in advance of the fight to avoid the commission seeing him, anyway. This isn't like a shot of meth in the locker room that would last the duration of the fight.

It's bull**** to analogize this to fighters using HGH, EPO, steroids or more effective stimulants of a longer duration. And take it from me, any amphetamine would do a better job than weakass cocaine. It's only worth shooting and lasts about a minute.

haha that was really funny but so far from reality.

cocaine doesnt really reduce fatigue, it just makes you ignore the fatigue therefore you end up injuring yourself

most people are better than lacy. shotto**** RJJ beat a near prime JL.

muscle isnt the same as bone

its his fans who hallucinate about him being an ATG. Hes a decent HOFer entry though, no argument there.
