Roy Jones has been past it since 2003, if you didn't find out yet then let's allow Calzaghe to tell it to you. If you're still unconvinced then stay in delusional island and spare us the infestation.

Joe is in FAR better condition than Jones it's not even close, which is why this fight happened now and not years ago anyway. Jones has been shot since 2003.

Joe is still able to throw 1,000 punches, Jones can't even keep it in the middle of the ring for one minute and has to go to the ropes. The Jones you saw in there isn't even 30% of what he was in his prime and not even close to it. If you fail to see that then you simply fail.

Jones worship?, where's the Jones worship?, if you find any from me please tell me about it. I provided a link to you with Calzaghe his self expressing his opinion about Jones right now which is a fact shared by everyone in the boxing world, yet some of his fans want people to make this look like Shot Joe vs Shot Jones, Joe won!, let's throw a party. Sorry, but Calzaghe is coming off a major win over Hopkins, a major win over Kessler and has thrown 1,000 punches in his fight with Jones. Yeah he's past it too but compared to how shot Jones is it's not even 1%.

Not that huge of a Roy Jones fan.....My favorite current fighter is Jermain Taylor

Just trying to be logical and put Joe's victory in proper perspective. Roy is a shot fighter. I give him full props for beating the more formidible Hopkins.

You have a problem with honest objective opinions?

hence the thread falls on deaf ears, and the "prime" is once again used as a retort,u people make hopkins look intelligent.

joe aged better, jones didnt which makes joe the better athlete, leave it at that, prime is of the essence.

did i once say jones was at the top of his game?like joe,he isnt yet this is somehow used to denegrate joe but if you flip that i.e neither is joe,all hell brakes loose.

    im out.

No, it's actually TOTALLY UNLIKE Joe. Jones has been shot since 2003, Joe is undefeated and still very active in the ring to be considered totally past it. He's not prime but he's not totally past it either like Roy Jones is.

Watch the video in my post above again please, Joe Calzaghe should explain it better for you.

    Oh man.

This board doesn't even have the word "balanced" in it's vocabulary.

The Calzagians are right in there with the Roy Boys, GayforFloyds and more.

    It's all painfull.

Well if I'm not mistaken, you have lumped me in with all Roy groupies which I perceived as you trying to challenge my objectivity to the fight.

Btw, who are you favorite fighters if you don't mind me asking ?

where did i lump you in with the groupies?

it was a random, observational, tongue in cheek response directed at certain irrationals that dwell amongst us,those that take it as bait rather than humour know it is for them and them alone.
