Article on the scene says he could be returning to train Cleverly .

As a Calslappy fan I have to say I don't think he'd be a good trainer, Cleverly should try Lockett

    Are we talking about Enzo?

I just saw him in an advert on tv. Can't remember what.

Enzos style of training really suits Cleverly. Cleverlys main issue is he is never given ANY strategy and his technique is simply dire. He is still very talented with a good engine but someone needs to tell him what to do and how to do it.

I'd like to see Joe train him. Again, his principles are very similar to what Cleverly needs.

The difficulty is articulating what he sees and what he wants. Alot of talented fighters grasp techniques significantly easier. Calzaghe is one of the best boxers of all time so he'd be wrong to ask Cleverly to execute 10 punch combos (slaps) like he did.

Either way, great engine, fast hands, high work rate, punches in bunches - you could be talking about Joe or Nate!

apart from frank Bruno .....joe comes across as the boxer with least interest in boxing... joe has the looks to be great on tv but -zero personality...

I wouldn't say he had no interest in boxing as a sport. But I think he feels he achieved everything he wanted to as a boxer and is happy that he retired at the top. I hope Clev changes his trainer as I don't think his dad is good enough. It would be interesting to see Joe as a trainer and whilst he might have no experience as a trainer he did box at the highest level which should be helpful to Clev.
