It's always difficult to tell with you, you are the man who has Juan Diaz #20 on your current P4P list after all
Can you tell me again about how Collazo won the last 4 rounds against Khan by being outlanded 27-4 and knocked down twice in the 10th? I like that one. I'll ask again, what do you consider to be a high number of punches per round?
I just want to be clear here. You think Vitali Klitschko usually threw 100 punches per round? What do you consider to be a high number of punches for a welterweight?
Klitschko average punches per round... Klitschko - Briggs: 60 Klitschko - Sanders: 52 Klitschko - Williams: 65 Klitschko - Arreola: 80 Klitschko - Peter: 73 Klitschko - Adamek: 61 Klitschko has NEVER averaged 100 punches per round. I'm very happy for you that you can throw a lot of punches while shadow boxing but what do you consider a high number of punches per round for a professional welterweight over a 12 round fight?
Yes I'm sure he did throw over 100 punches in some rounds but I asked you what was a high "average" number of punches for a heavyweight per round and you said 100. Vitali does in fact have the record for the most punches ever thrown in a 12 round heavyweight fight with an average of 84 per round against KJ but no heavyweight in history has ever thrown an average of 100 punches per round over a 12 round fight. So what you consider to be a high "average" for a heavyweight is actually 200 more punches than a heavyweight has ever been recorded throwing over 12 rounds. Yes it depends on your style and opponent. But what would you consider to be a high number of punches per round for a welterweight against someone who is "coming to fight like Maidana"?
But you "thought" it was 100 for Vitali when in reality he usually averaged closer to 65 and only averaged over 80 twice in his career. So you thought he threw 35 more punches per round than he actually did on average. Which comes out to 420 per punches per fight! That's as many as Manny threw in the entire Floyd fight. Yes it's quite possible that Dempsey and Marciano threw 100 per round. There's no data to back it up but that was a completely different time with a completely different size of heavyweight so it's not a great comparison. Yes Margarito and Williams threw a ton of punches. What I am asking is at the top 50 pro level, how many punches per round would you consider to be a lot for a welterweight against a fighter who "comes to fight".
I hope you went all the way back to where he educated me on the razor close Khan-Collazo fight that he scored 117-115 for Amir (would have been 118-117 Collazo if not for the KDs) Looks like I've been "owned" again :conf
So you think Compubox is missing over 400 punches that he threw per fight on average? :think In the sanders fight where you thought he threw 100 per round and he actually threw 50 you think Compubox missed half of his punches?
