Yeah closing in fast....he hasn't fought at Super Middle since 2012 (being the E-Rod fight was technically at Light Heavy)....and his next fight won't be at 168 either (against Paul Smith LMAO)

 Yeah he is a bit of a joke and a stalker.
He entered into debate with me some years ago, and didnt have an answer to any point raised and went away feeling silly. Since then he wont enter into a debate or answer any counters or question and bumps old threads of mine making comments.
It shows how badly he was owned and how it still haunts him :lol:

I doubt it, as Calzaghe had so many names on his resume. The good thing now is that the division is more known.
Consider how a fighter like Andre Dirrell is well known but not done as much as M Veit, who I would have favoured to have beaten him.

Calzaghe cleaned out the SMW division.
Ward has yet to fight a top undefeated SMW or top prime SMW and basically beat a faded fighter that Calzaghe had already beaten in Kessler, who beat Froch, who beat Bute, but not once did Ward beat any when prime or undefeated.

Well RJJ would be an obvious choice, my favourite ever fighter Nigel Benn is in there, Chrith Eubanks was amazing too.

But for me, for a short period of time, in peak fitness, in his prime and his head screwed on right i think James Tony at 168 was the best James Tony and was unstoppable. Every aspect of his game looked as good as it can be.

I still think had Gerrald McClellan had a career at this weight we would be seeing his name on that list. He was guna be a monster. Unfortunatly we know what happened to him.

What many hate to acknowledge is that when Calzaghe beat Hopkins, Hopkins was having arguably his most impressive wins and there was around 7 years difference between them.
When Ward beat Froch. Froch was coming off a Mdec over old, faded, boiled down G Johnson and there was around 8 years difference between them.

Yeah. People who say Hopkins was only beaten by Calzaghe due to the age gap, must also acknowledge that, Ward only beat Froch because of it. Let's take a look at the evidence:

Hopkins was 7 years older than Calzaghe when they fought. Hopkins was 43, 'Zaggers was 36.

Froch was 7 years older than Ward when they fought. Froch was 34, PED test avoiding Ward was 27.

Now before all the Hopkins****s chime in going the former duo was older than the latter, take a quote from the Popkins himself "You don't last long in this sport proving you can take a punch". Froch has made a career of doing that thus he will fade much young than Hopkins (and thus Calzaghe who was open to a bit of a tear up, younger than Ward).

Now let's compare Froch and Hopkins runs, going in and coming out either side of the Ward and Joe C fights.

    3 fights out
Hopkins, loses close fight to Jermaine Taylor
Froch, loses close fight to Mikkel Kessler

    2 fights out
Hopkins wins as an underdog in dominate fashion against Antonio Tarver
Froch wins as an underdog in dominate fashion against Arthur Abraham

    1 fight out
Hopkins- wins on points to the slightly faded yet still game Winky Wright
Froch- wins on points to the slightly faded yet still game Glen Johnson

    The fight
Hopkins-loses a close points (but should've been wider) verdict to Joe Calzaghe
Froch- loses a close points (but should've been wider) verdict to Andre Ward

    1st fight past
Hopkins- easily defeats undefeated betting favorite Kelly Pavlik
Froch- easily defeats undefeated betting favorite Lucian Bute

    2nd fight past
Hopkins- beats journeyman Enrique Ornelas with little trouble
Froch- beats journeyman Yusaf Mack with little trouble

    3rd fight past
Hopkins- beats faded Calzaghe victim Roy Jones
Calzaghe- beats faded Calzaghe victim Mikkel Kessler

    4th fight past
Hopkins- draws with Jean Pascal but is controversial
Froch- beats George Groves but is controversial

    5th fight past
Hopkins- beats Pascal in rematch ending controversy
Froch- beats Groves in rematch ending controversy

Plus being that 'Zaggers moved up in weight to beat Hopkins and traveled to his back garden, where Ward was fighting at a comfortable weight in his own back garden, it must me argued:

Zaggers beating Hopkins >>>>>> Ward beating Froch

What fighters of 40 and over did Calzaghe fight?

How old was Calzaghe himself when he fought these fighters and at what stage of his career was he?

Who did Calzaghe wait to fight when over 40, as we know Calzaghe had tried to make the Hopkins fight years previously, only for Hopkins to have a change of decision. So who did he wait for?

This is why Auracle doesnt enter into debate and why he hides.
He will duck these questions

Good post, but fanboys will not want to read that and try and rewrite history and forget that after all of what you wrote Hopkins went on to beat undefeated LHW champ Cloud and LHW champ Shumenov

Yep, couldn't compare Froch though because he hasn't fought since Groves, but the hunch is Froch will turn out to be more shot than Hopkins was.

But Hopkins beating Cloud & Shumenov would be the equivilant of saying Froch beating DeGale (who like Cloud is a champion, and does at least have an argument he should be undefeated) and Badou Jack (a once defeated champion) not to mention he also beat Murat- a top 10 guy so that would be like Froch beating Stieglitz too.

What has Joe got to be bitter about. He was the GOAT at 168- people who claim otherwise are the bitter ones

    yeah ok

just because you claim it dont make it true

you on about joe had to move up joe was killing himself to make 168 fact he was doing a khan hiding down in the lower division

killing himself to make weight and was forced to fight off both promoter and father , need home advantage for 95% of his fights and the list of bums on there is a fooking joke

plenty of middleweights on his record :deal :hi: good day fu ck wit
