Jones wouldn't have fought him. He was to busy taking PEDs and fighting postmen on HBO.

Hopkins was offered the fight in the USA for a career high payday but instead fought Marrade Hakkar for chump change.

    :hi::hi:

    Butthurt much?? :lol::lol:

how does taking peds stop you from facing someone?

how many postmen did jones fight, as as to mean he couldn't fight calzaghe?

please be specific with your claims, or admit they are rubbish.

RJJ, Froch, Ward, Eubank and Benn all easily rate above Calzaghe.

At the end of the day no matter what failey I mean bailey tries to spew with the stupid boxing anelytics. Ward will still go down as a top 3 SMW arguably the goat smw & a all time great by the end of his career. The man is only 30 & has beaten the likes of kessler, froch, bika, dawson, abraham, green, miranda & rodriguez all prime or top 10 when he beat them.

Kessler was still the man when ward beat him & was favored to win. Losing to Joe the so called goat smw should not take away from that win.

Froch was far from faded & went on after that loss to ward to have a even stronger run than ward during that time & cement his place as a top 5 goat smw & a hof'er.

Dawson was top 10 p4p when ward beat him & dawson called him out on tv & been claiming he was the best lhw & smw in the world & could make the weight with ease.

Ottke was a aight but he would've gotten badly embarrassed & exposed had he fought in a talent rich pool like the super 6 let alone a super 6 during his time. He is no different than abraham except abraham fought some of the most accomplished or talented smw ever back to back to back.

I don't care much about accomplishments at 1 weight class unless that weight class was stacked with extremely talented fighters or future hof'er. Johnson was trash at 168 & ottke barely beat him no props. His accomplishments is very suspect.

Collins is the man but even he would tell you ward is more accomplished at smw & overall than he was.

Please don't pretend you have the moral high ground when you spend night and day trolling calling Calzaghe a coward from behind the comfort of your keyboard. :hi:

Yeah he is sure closing in on Calzaghe fast by not fighting at Super Middleweight in 3 years....and fighting next at 172.....against Paul Smith, while pricing himself out of fights with top fighters :lol:

Calzaghe beating Eubank has nothing to do with me rating Eubank so high. Collins beat Eubank also, when undefeated and on a good run. I rate Eubank for his top wins. Eubanks with all those title defences.
Out of Eubanks 18 WBO SMW title fights 14 of those fights were against fighters who were, had been or became top 10 SMWs. One was a unification and another was against the undefeated former IBF SMW champ (relinquished his title). In fact 6 of the fighters he faced had been or became world champs

Holmes, Wharton, Benn, Malinga, Rocchigiani, Close, Watson to name a few

    As for Ottke
    he is rated because
    Ottke
It was only Ottkes 13th fight when he won a world title
Ottke made 21 title defences and was a winner of 22 world title fights
Ottkes reign was impressive when you consider he wasnt a puncher and didnt have an equalizer in his fists.

    Look at who Ottke beat
C Brewer the then IBF SMW champ for the title, beaten twice
G Johnson who went on to become the Ring & IBF LHW champ
S Branco who went on to become the WBA LHW champ
A Mundine who went on to become the 2 time WBA SMW champ
B Mitchell the then WBA SMW champ and 2 time WBA champ
R Reid the former WBC SMW champ and still world class
A Krajnc the former WBO MW champ (a smaller fighter)
M L****n world class who went on to become European champ
R Markussen world class who went on to become European champ
    T Tate beaten twice
    D Starie
    J Butler

:patsch Bit of a clueless post
Out of Calzaghes 24 world title fights only around 12 were based in the country he was living in, he fought Eubank away, Woodhall, away, Reid away, Veit 2 away, all fighters who were top 10 rated and had been or were SMW champs

Its funny how SMW which came around in the 80s is considered new and a weak division when Calzaghe is mentioned, but Holyfield beating LHWs in the CW division, a division of a similar age is good and Ward fighting Calzaghes faded leftovers is also considered strong :patsch:lol:

Ive seen Ottke fight many times and watched all of his world title fights.
Now lets do the test and you tell me how many you think are robberies. This will tell me if YOU have actualy watched the fights or are just basing opinions on what others write

Auracle will make a comment but hide.
Which fights are you referring to? Tell me what Ottke fights you watched? This will be good, as he likely hasnt watched Ottke at all and will prove my point by ducking and not answering

You are obviously struggling with what was written.
Calzaghe aside, who is the GOAT at SMW, which means not including Calzaghe you dumb fool
