Calaghe should stay retired. I'm not interested in him coming back, I don't think many people are.

Why are you comparing Peter Manfredo to Bernard Hopkins?

IMO, Calzaghe and HAtton are two of the most boring elite fighters of this decade..

Yeah - who wants fighters who constantly throw punches, come forward and always look to be aggressive, they're so boring.

Lets rate Bernard Hopkins, Winky Wright and Floyd Mayweather Jr as exciting - since they're so defensive and refuse to throw punches.

Calzaghe's fights are downright unwatchable to me because majority of his attacks are SLAPS... I understand that his fragile hands has alot to do with his slapping but still, i can't stand him.. He's a slapper and that's boring to me.

Hatton is more of a wrestler/hugger than a real boxer.. He clinches after throwing a jab.. that's all he does and i could never stand him.. He's a John Ruiz mini me.

Stinky Winky Wright is more boring than Calzaghe and Hatton combined. Yea, **** winky..

Hopkins and Floyd on the other hand, they excite the hell out of me.

........so your basically saying calzaghe would fight pavlik then. And why wouldnt he. Anyway, i think he would come back but the opponent has to be right. Remember hes taking part in that dance show later this year...could that help with with a big money fight straight after?? The show is very popular. Not saying he took it with a fight it mind..but it could help. They'll prob throw all sorts fo money for a fight at him

bs..calzaghe has masterpieces vs lacy, kessler, jones etc. The slap thing is overated. yes, he throws in slaps..but have you seen opponents faces after the fights?! They all tend to come out with 'he hits harder than i thought' thing, so its not like hes shots arnt strong. In fact he hurt kessler badly at one point with a body ****, possibly could have ko'd Jones and Lacy was ko'd after 10 anyway lol dunno why he was still there. He got dropped but showed tremendous Heart

Funny how those slaps seem to make people cautious about throwing shots against Calzaghe huh? Funny how they also hurt Kessler, Lacy, Bika and even backed Hopkins (known for defense and iron jaw up)

Hatton wrestles, yeah - but at least he gives you action and he's in your face, he's not been in a boring fight.

Hopkins is the most boring fighter in the world, unless he knows he can't lose - i.e against Pavlik or Tarver - look at him vs Calzaghe or Taylor, clammed up, refused to throw shots and tried to spoil the fight.

Floyd - hell, I love watching him fight because he's just so darn skillful but like Hopkins, he fights to minimise the risk of losing, not to entertain and not to beat down his opponent - unless he knows he's got it, ala Gatti.

    You serious?

Calzaghe would have beat the living hell out of him.
