He will fight RJJ next, that is nearly a sure thing, The money will be there for Joe and that is what it is all about money.

Absolutely, although I'd love to see him fight all of those mentioned realistically he only has a 1 or maybe 2 fights left in him.

I don't believe his next will be last though unless he gets beaten badly, the lure of millions of dollars/pounds would make anyone reconsider retirement IMO and with his 45-0 record if that increases to 46-0 he just becomes a bigger draw for his opponent and the public.

let him decide but if he decides to stay in the game, hope he fights the pavliks and the dawsons of the world for his legacy. Those fighters are great for calzaghe's legacy anyway so why not?

Calzaghe should fight Roy Jones next.

He has nothing left to prove, and it will be a big payday before retirement.

Even if he defeated Dawson and Pavlik, the haters would say they were no good anyway, the same as they say about Lacy.

For the sake of a "legacy" he should fight Jones because the world knows who Roy Jones Jr. is. Only the boxing world knows Dawson and Pavlik. With a fight versus one of them Calzaghe is only participating in another fight. Versus Jones he is in an event!

Joe has made plenty of dough in his last six or seven fights.

A fight versus Dawson for example would earn him the lions share of a decent pot as well, assuming Dawson beats Diaconu and/or Tarver on national TV to top it off, and it would be a far bigger deal for Joe's legacy.

See: the Hopkins win, already being written off.

Jones is considered even more washed up than Bernard.

"Pavlik was a middleweight...one dimensional plodder....never beat a real LHW/SMW...knew Joe was running scared of Bad Chad."

Though I'll agree Dawson and Pavlik both would be clearly superior to a Jones fight.
