In all the threads that have been about Hopkins V Calzaghe after the fight, only once I have seen someone comment that Calzaghe landed some good shots. I saw this yesterday, I forget the poster's name.

I haven't watched the fight for a while because my wife deleted it from Sky+ - stupid *****:fire :fire

So I can't comment on the exact rounds when he landed these shots, but on a number of occasions Calzaghe caught BHOP with solid single left hand shots that got his attention. He wasn't on ***** street by any means, but they were good shots. Also in the 11th when the action commenced after BHOP's theatrics Calzaghe caught him with a good 3 punch combo. (Credit to BHOP he took it and came back aggressively).

Alright it was a scrappy contest and BHOP did the cleaner work, but to say that Calzaghe landed nothing but pitty-pat is BS.

Also for those who have seen more of BHOP's career than me, how many times has he been wobbled and in trouble, apart from that fight in S. America?

Calzaghe did land some flush shots on Hopkins in the later rounds. No doubt about that.

No doubt Hopkins landed the more effective punches, that is why I had it a close fight.

Calzaghe, to his credit, did what he had to do, he shortened up and landed enough to out point Hopkins. I haven't seen the fight since the day after but I can only recall 3-4 decent shots from Calzaghe.
