Look guys Calzaghe did what he had to do. he beat 2 HOFmer's came to our country to do it, he has nothing else to prove. would I like to see him vs Dawson...yeah, but what is it going to prove?? if he beats Dawson somebody else is going to say he has to fight this person and I'll give him props. so leave Calzaghe alone because when he retiresd he's right behind Mayweather has the 2 best boxers of our era. Let me point something out though, all you guys that say if he beats Dawson thers going to be another name is right, but if you back Calzaghe you cant say **** about Mayweather. it's the same thing because dont matter who Mayweather beat somebody would say he has to fight this guy. so if you back Calzaghe then you cant say **** about Mayweather at all, at least Mayweather went out fighting a younger and prime Hatton. It's all sujective, he might not have anything to prove in your eyes, but he does in a lot of others. Hes gonna get in the hall regardless, and I'm not denying hes a great fighter. I just think beating two old HOFmer's shouldnt be career defining fights for a guy going out as the number 2 ranked pound for pound fighter in the world. I'd like to see him against Dawson before he goes though.

He has money and if he is content with himself he does not have anything to do i agree. However, i would like to see him fight Dawson. The primary reason being Dawson is young he isn't old and passed it like Jones or Hopkins. Dawson is a very good fighter and i would favour him to beat Calzaghe.
He's shot, he already got beat by Tarver and Johnson, a couple of wins against nobodies and an old Tito doesn't make him rejuvanated. He dropped Joe because Joe's over rated. Hes a good fighter sure, but hes not an ATG. Definately not in the skills department. Is Joe even capable of throwing a proper punch, all I see are looping pitty pats and shoe shining slaps.
