I believe so. I don't have audio but it looked like he gave him a count and everyone else is saying it was scored 10-8. Regardless of the official ruling the slow motion replay clearly shows that no punch lands. It was a forearm, shouldn't have been ruled a knockdown.
because this is the pros, not the amateurs....where punches need to count for something, i'd say a forearm getting a knockdown counts more for pity-pats which more often then not don't even land clean.:nut
Yeah since the 1st and maybe the 2nd its pretty much been all Joe...Roys legs dont look too steady at times either
Joe's punching output is scoring too much i think RJJ lands the best punch of the fight in the 6th - the uppercut Lederman has it JOE by 1 point
But it wasn't even like the forearm was part of the follow-through on a landed punch. It was dumb luck, Roy's bony ass arm happened to catch Joe in the face as he was coming forward and knocked him off balance. For him to get credit for that is dreadful, regardless of what you think of Calzaghe's light-punching/slapping style.
