    I'd favor Johnson over him actually, pretty clearly. And if we're talking an A game EMM, Joe gets pasted.

    Havent read the posts but i agree.
    Head to head,this thread isnt remotely controversial or contentious,much as he'd like it to be;
    Joe's a lot bigger physically than almost all of them.2 WW'S and a LW(to start with)and a MW(not a big one either,he made 160 or less with ease all his career in the days of same day weigh-ins)
    He should beat them.So what?

    LB 4 LB any of those guys are better fighters than Joe C...Hagler stands a good chance but we'll never see him at 168...

    Spot on.

    By the by....In this era of early weigh ins,Hagler could have fought at 154 and possibly 147.

    i agree if calz will fight them on thier TWILIGHT of their respective careers!

    On their prime?!? C'mon you got to be kidding! CALZ waited for the two greats RJJ and Bhop to be in their last Hurrah of thier careers before he fought them. The funniest thing is that CALZ fans act and CREDIT the win as if those wins were in their primes..

    But props to CALZ for a great record of zero loss... but giving full credit to the win over RJJ and Bhop is another story!

    Hmmm,at a stretch its conceivable.
    Come on look at Williams and Margarito,why not Hagler?They would be MW's in Haglers day.
    If in 1982 Hagler was offered 10-15 million to fight one of the other Fantastic four at 147,with the weigh-ins as early as nowadays,he'd have done it.
    Hit the scales at 147 and then replenish and rehydrate like fuk.
    I can see it.No way of knowing how effective he'd be,but PW and AM are,in general.

    I understand what your saying...Though Tony and Paul are much taller than Hagler who was 5 foot 9 1/2...Hagler had a much bigger chest than either and was a "bigger man"..juss cuz ur taller doesn't make you bigger..No what im sayin?

    He beats all except easily except Hagler, which would be a bit closer. But wouldnt you expect him to beat up middle weights and lightweights? Why dont you pit him against TOney,Jones,Hopkins,Eubank,Nunn,Collins etc.

    Hagler and Hearns are certainly not too small.. in fact, both can probably stop the supposedly "simply too big" Calzaghe. Duran and Leonard are certainly smaller fighters but I wouldn't count out the possibility of Leonard beating Joe via decision.
