You forgot to check the Anit- Jones threads, much Calzaghe nutthugging goes on in them. And usually high jack Roy Jones appreciation threads.
I can imagine, i would defend jones tho just like i defend calzaghe. Just seems to me an endless cycle of HATER/NUTHUGGER makes post then opposite side fights back. All i get annoyed at is to many focus soley on the Fanbois and ignore or forgive the haters. even tho as proved in this example its the Haters doing more of the provoking and **** stirring.
This is what Calfaggy fans seem to not comprehend. All Time Great fighters get defeated moreso than not. That's because one of the leading traits of ATGs is to take a challenge, IN THEIR PRIMES, where there is significant RISK, and as much REWARD. :yep Joe Louis got defeated Ali got defeated Sugar Ray Robinson got defeated Archie Moore got defeated Sugar Ray Leonard got defeated Marvin Hagler got defeated Roy Jones got defeated Lennox Lewis got defeated Bernard Hopkins got defeated (Jones, not Calslappy) Mike Tyson get defeated All of these cats are in another dimension relative to Joe Calzaghe. His name doesn't deserve to be mentioned in the same breath as these greats. Not that defeating an ATG is your sole path into ATG-dom, but it certainly helps. One thing for sure is; If a fighter has never met and defeated an ATG, than how can that fighter be considered an ATG fighting stiffs, bums, soup-cans, and B/C level competition his whole career. Calzaghe NEVER took a risk in his entire Pro-career. He never met or defeated an prime ATG and therefore he is LESS than great. That's the way the cookie crumbles in reality land.
It is true, most ATG's do have a loss or multiple losses on their record. I think he was speaking that there are more all time greats that get defeated in their career, than there are undefeated all time greats.
Did you just attempt to read this? LOL, UFC fans don't know jack! Which is consistent with, Calfaggy "undefeated" don't mean Jack! yep:rofl
Tyson and Ali never got defeated in their primes. As far as Moore & Hopkins, they got better with age so I don't know. Even Roy Jones admitted Hopkins was getting better as a fighter during the Hopkins-Brown fight so maybe neither Jones or Hopkins were prime when they first fought because they got better afterwards. Calzaghe did beat a better version of Kessler than Ward did so I'll always give him credit for that.
I think Tyson and Ali were prime fighters, but got beat on a bad night... It is obviously hard to pull it together every single time you go in the ring.:yep Especially Ali, who happened to be fighting an ATG, when he lost.:thumbsup
You have a point its hard to be on point in every fight as a prime fighter just look at Norris-Brown 1. Norris had an off night but got his stuff together in the rematch. I always think of Ali before the exile being prime & Tyson of 86-88 being prime. Also, Frazier was hungrier in the first fight.
