Calzaghe fans think Joe is better than RJJ?

I was simply pointing out that other WORLD Champions were not afraid to fight abroad and that Calzaghe is the Champion and is coming to America and fight Roy where ticket sales for the fight are abysmal he could have made Roy go to Wales and fight in front of 50,000 people but we both know Roy would never agree to that.

 

Yeah most are the same old rabble on how bad joe is and how shot roy is though. Cant wait for the fight.

Incidently there is a new television show coming to the US soon.
Its like everybody loves raymond but its called everybody hates joe.
Especially when he retires undefeated. I hope they let that craaazy mofo' enzo play himself.

 

I don't recall too many people caring when Ricardo Lopez retired undefeated after 52 fights. I don't anticipate much pandemonium in the streets when Joe heads back to Cardiff with his sack of cash for beating up Roy Jones either.

American fans will probably be too busy thinking about the impending retirements of their own better fighters - Hopkins and Jones.

 

If you could either fight in your own country, somewhere you are used to fighting and are happy fighting, then why would you choose instead to go and fight in front of 50,000 fans of the other guy in a country you've ever fought in or even been in? Why would anyone choose to make things harder for themselves? The only people who travel are people who need to to make the fight happen. Roy Jones doesn't need to, the fights come to him. Therefore, why would he?

 

Prime for Prime I have Roy, because of his athleticism, lightning speed/reflexes, the way he toyed with a lot of fighters was stupendous to watch (a lot of cans in there though).

Took a helluva risk going upto heavy but got the job done against a weak(ish) champ. Great accomplishment though. He has paid for it since he came back down to LHW.

Roy never had to go overseas because he made good money here just as Cal made good money at home. When you say stuff like Roy has a glass jaw, and Roy would never agree to that, it is as if you are implying that Roy is a bum or a coward. If I ever see a post of youw writing this, I'll **** right on your head lol...You say the same old special ed repetitive posts...post after post. I have Calzaghe ranked #1 pfp, and I know he is fighting an almost shot Roy who is not even close to being the fighter he once was. Cal is past it also so this fight is similiar to Leonard-Hearns 2. You know both fighters are past it, yet you want to see it.

Roy is not a draw and nobody in America cares about Calzaghe and the ticket sales prove this. Why not fight in Wlaes and make more money?

Yeah, but to kill your point, Cal wanted the fight here in America. He left a bad taste in Americans mouths when Hop made him look bad even though he won.

 

Roy was not going to fight in Wales period. Everyone but the biggest Roy nuthuggers know this. If Joe did not come to the States there would be no fight.

At least Joe is willing to travel.
