Then try to hype up his victories over Hanshaw, Trinidad and Ajamu for the simple fact that it makes Calzaghe's win over Roy seem more legit In their own little brains..

My honest and informed opinion is that this is a truly dreadful resume for an HOF-bound fighter. After Lacy, it really is a wasteland, even by this era's standards. JMHO.

Bailey did you really consider Jones a top 10 LHW when Calzaghe beat him? If so for what reason? You are grasping for straws, Calzaghe beat a shot to **** Jones and it means nothing....

No matter how many times you talk about Jones being in the top 10 ring rankings, it does not make that victory any better... Jones did nothing to deserve to be in the top 10 rankings, even If he did, it is hardly a reason to try to validate a victory. Jones beat all kinds of top 10 fighters you guys call bums.

The fact is, Calzaghe was still an A level fighter when he fought Jones... Jones was about a C+ or B-, Tarver, Johnson,Dawson, Cloud,Hopkins, Green (Danny) would have all kicked Roy's ass the night Joe beat him. Hell, John Ruiz would have knocked Jones out.

You're actually being kind to Jones. The guy was shot-to-**** and had been for around 4 years by the time he fought Joe. Jones hadn't beaten a fighter ranked in the top 10 of any division for 5 years, hadn't stopped anyone in 6 years, and had been easily beaten the last 3 times he had fought top 10 ranked opponents. Bailey is a biased joke, everyone knows that, he says Jeff Lacy would knock out prime Iran Barkley, his agenda is obvious, a pointless fanboy imbecile.

Yeah, he will say anything he can to discredit Jones' actual great wins.. And hype up Jones' wins against Trinidad, Ajamu, and Hanshaw for the fact that it makes Joe's victory over Jones seem better. Hell I have even seen him post that Jones was still a top fighter because he went 12 rounds with Tarver.

None of those 3 wins are in Roy's top 10 victories, but Jones is in Joe's top 10, which is not a good thing.
