Surely a rematch with Hopkins is more lucrative

A much more appealing fight than with Jones IMO.

Froch has got the streak of a cold hearted murderer in him.

He once said about Joe Calzaghe on live TV he would "smoke his boots"

Froch could beat JC at a weeks notice. JC beats Lacy, Kesseler and Phops and you guys think he is the next best thing since flavoured condoms.

It's all too easy to start believing Froch is an unbeatable machine that could knock everyone out, given his style and calibre of opposition so far. However, once he steps up to fight world class fighters, he may no longer look as impressive, as dangerous or as solid. Only time will tell, of course, but it's worth keeping in mind that not all prospects who have looked like a million dollars have continued to do so once they stepped up.

He might choose to face neither, but I'd go for Bute, if I were him. Bute has a very good chin, but he isn't that tough and Froch might have enough to capitalise on that down the stretch. First things first, though; there's Pascal to look out for, as you say.

I've been researching Jean Pascal, a.k.a The **** Roy Jones and he's poor. He hasn't got the footwork to pull that off. His defence is really bad.

So is Froch's, but at least he has a good chin and power to bail him out.

i think joe is shot, which gives Froch a chance of KO'ing him.

Otherwise, no chance. He 's good but not that good.

I think Joe beats Froch easy!

Anyway... just stumbled across some GIFs..

I didn't realise Joe sort of low blowed hopkins before the old...

Cant see it happening, i reckon if Calzaghe does fight again after the RJJ fight it will either be a rematch with Hopkins or RJJ at the Millenium.

i knew calzaghe would not retire after jones, he needs to give bernard a rematch but i have suspicions this will never happen
