Calzaghe gave Hopkins an education there...Bernard had no answer to the wide slaps.

Bernard knows how to deal with orthodox punches to an extent, but he was left utterly bewildered by Calzaghe's flurries of slaps.

What made extra sure of the wide win for Calzaghe were the 'wide technically incorrect' arm punches. The type that Hopkins was supposed to be able to exploit...

  5. Mate! He DID exploit them...........for a rest!!!!!

(And it was only once and even then its highly debatable unless he superglued his bolloxs to his abdomen)

Actually, there is some logic in that

The short arm punches make it more difficult for Hopkins to counter, as he is blinded by the flurry of arms :D

He had answers to Joe and it showed early on. But Hopkins didnt have age on his side simple as that

Pull your head out of your ass. You Calzaghe fanatics make me as sick as Joy Boys do. He made Calzaghe look like a fool tonight. Why? Because he couldn't stop Hopkins from making him fight his fight.. the only difference maker was that Calzaghe was a bit more aggressive and throwing his little **** punches, all of which Hopkins seemed quite amused by.

Bewildered he was at times, but the endless Hop-hugging did counter most of the slaps.

    LMAO .. Calslappy looked like **** ... barely gets a points win ... never lands a hard punch .. what a *****. Bernard loses a split-decision ... let's do it again.

Calzaghe was out boxed for the first half of the fight and also dropped Calzaghe in the first round and hurt him several times after in the bout. Calzaghe better retire because if he fights a fighter like pavlik his china chin will be exposed further more.

  12. Could your bias bull**** be anymore obvious? HOPKINS STYLE ISN'T ABOUT AGE! You saw how effective he was counter punching its just this guys Joe was that much better than his previous foes! Suck it up.

I had Calzaghe winning too but don't be ridiculous please. You guys even DARED to say that Calzaghe wanted to fight a young Hopkins back in the day?, guess who's next?, someone he didn't want to fight back in the day either, Roy Jones. :good

Calzaghe was very unawake for the first few rounds. He still won most of them though.
