ask Kessler if they hurt. regardless, boxing is a sport. joe saves his energy for stamina not going for knockouts (dont think his hands can take it anymore either). perfectly legitimate tactic that everybody knows, yet nobody has found an answer for yet.

This isn't the frickin amateurs. You aren't awarded for flailing about and senseless forward motion. That is not the proper way to score a professional prizefight. Sometimes it seems like alot of goddamn people need a refresher on that.

How on earth is Joe "in control" in that clip?

Fair play to him for taking that head-butt though, and being unfazed by it. It looks pretty force laden and nasty.

Watch that series of shots as closely as Bernard does.

Joe is pawing at Bernard, then attempts to land some power with the left hook, most fighters would be looking at the pawing, not watching the shoulders.

Bernard saw the shoulder, managed to overt the incoming power shot, used his head to staggered Calzaghe then throw the tight right hand.

It's **** like that, that makes Bernard as hard to beat as he is - most other fighters in their with Calzaghe have been distracted by the pitty patter of punches and then been caught by a punch like that left hook.

You calzaghe freaks are something else. That short right hand landed flush on the jaw. You can see the sweat fly off after impact.
