the irony of people posting threads with these defensive titles is that i cant think of a 'great' fighter in recent times who has needed ANY defending at this stage of his career like calzaghe has.

Calzaghe, as a fighter, as ALOT more to prove. As a star and a boxing celebrity he's reaching rarified heights - and that seems to be his primary focus, entirely.
