Who was the best fighter H2H that either beat? Taking into consideration the weight they boxed them at, and the condition the opponent was in. (effectiveness at the weight, past-prime, drained etc.) I know the De La Hoya fight was at a 158lb catchweight, but Hopkins came in at 156, which gives the victory extra credence to me. I don't feel Lacy merits inclusion, but believe that without the shoulder injury and beating, he would've gone on to KO every opponent he's fought since Calzaghe, except maybe Taylor and shot Jones and probably reclaimed a SMW belt. I rate the Eubank Calzaghe fought higher than most probably, but feel he was still a top SMW and would've beaten most that night, even though drained(he was a master at dropping weight late anyway) and past-prime. I'm not including Hopkins for Calzaghe as he would win it by a landslide and don't want it to end up as another debate about their fight.
