Calzaghe-Hopkins announcment on Tuesday

    The seemingly interminable wait for official confirmation of the Bernard Hopkins-Joe Calzaghe bout is at an end. The fight is formally signed and will be officially announced Tuesday, January 22nd. Venue remains unclear with either the Mandalay Bay, MGM Grand or Planet Hollywood to be revealed as host to the April 19th light heavyweight clash.

    If Hopkins could beat Taylor in two tries its hard to see how he can beat Calzaghe - who is a much better fighter than Taylor.

    I'm looking forward to this coming off. After Hopkins takes it down he rematches Roy. This will be very nice.
