PEOPLE keep asking me if Joe Calzaghe will fight Bernard Hopkins this year.
Well the deal is done and will be officially confirmed with the venue and date next week.

Good old Frank Warren, always delivers the fights that the people want :happy

I suggest a rematch between him and the gun-man for September, I'd pay to see that.

Bernard's got something up his sleeve and he fights to the level of his opposition if Calzaghe makes it a fight that's what he'll get in return Bernard is to wise and Joe's 0 will go.....after all these years.

If Hops wins (which he wont, hell be kayoed w/in 5), he becomes a top ten fighter of all time in my opinion. That would be incredible.

I see Hopkins turning this into his type of fight. He's not going to let Joe C dictate the pace of this fight. He will have a plan. I don't know if it will be fool proof but i do know he will make it work. He's got too much pride and he cares about his legacy. He would not have taken this fight had he not felt that he could actually beat Joe C. I'm sure he has watched plenty of tape of Joe C and has a great plan.

    Hopkins UD or possibly KO.

Exactly what I was thinking. Unless, of course, the fight is in Cardiff. :D

If Hopkins keeps catching Joe C with his right hand counters, you never know. Joe C has never faced a fighter as intelligent and savvy as Hopkins. Not even close. He's going to get caught with shots he never sees coming when he's coming forward to try to land.
