I just can't see Calzaghe imposing his will on will. BHops may be 43 then but, he will deal out punishment that JC has never felt before. Win or lose, this fight will probably be the most brutal Calzaghe has been on. Calzaghites, savor this one, he may retire after this fight.
hopefully GBP can make a good UK vs US undercard to go with it as well Main Event: Bhop vs Cal Co- Event: Witter vs Holt UK Prospect event: M.Hatton vs Feliciano US Prospect event: Godfrey vs UK TBA
Joe tucked his chin into his neck every time he was within striking distance of Kess...good defense. I think Joe's way too busy for Bernard. Also, if Joe plans on retiring after this fight...depending on his purse...he might throw caution to the wind in regards to his hands...then I think he could possibly KO Bernard.
In terms of ring generalship, controlling the pace, making Winky miss, and landing the much harder shots, Hopkins did dominate. He made Winky look like a C class fighter. Winky did nothing but try to hunt down Hopkins with his jab and right hooks. Hopkins even buckled Winky in the 1st round. He also won basically every exchange on the inside. Hopkins initiated the action when he wanted too. He would simply move around and then come in with 5-6 combinations, and then move around again. He completely controlled this fight. Joe is gonna try the same thing. He's going to come in with his hands low and try to get busy and Hopkins is just going to tattoo him all night long with right hand leads. Hopkins is going to dictate the pace of this fight.
y are people excited about this fight? hopkins is undisputed pound for pound the most boring fighter of all time, against a guy that cat punches and holds alot 2
