Yes...I agree. That's obvious, given that Hopkins will pick his shots more than Calzaghe, concentrate on power-punching more than usual and will be the counter-puncher, right?

    Agreed.
His power is vastly underrated aswell, I fear that Calzaghe will have no respect for the ol' mans power and try to overwhelm him early with hundreds of punches in every round. I still pick Calzaghe to win, by PTS.

well ofcourse its going to be hopkins if a clean ko occurs. calzaghe apparently threw 1000+ punches against lacy and he coulden't knock him out same with bika, manfredo fight don't count because of stupid ref and kessler well joe coulden't put him away either :D

I disagree, to be honest; Calzaghe will definitely respect Hopkins and his power; I think the first two rounds will be very tactical, and I can see Hopkins winning them quite easily...and then, gradually, as Calzaghe figures Hopkins a bit out, I can see him increasing his workrate and coming forward more and more as Hopkins gets more tired...

Those videos look like theyre from 1908, and you think Calzaghe wouldn't have KO'd Lipsey and Frank???

Calzaghe has a granite chin - unlikely but obviously possible. Seriously doubt it though

Im pretty sure most MWs would beat up Welterweights that fought at lighter weights than that as well......

Hopkins is not knocking Joe clean out. NO CHANCE!

Hopkins hasn't KO'd a fighter in years. Forget the De la Hoya one as he had no business fighting at 160.

Hopkins has nowhere near the power at 175 to KO an Iron chinned Calzaghe.

Seriously when did BHop last KO an a grade fighter?

Calzaghe has a great chin. Hes taken some good shots, even recently against Kessler he took some ****ing mean uppercuts and kept going. He's been on his arse once and ask Byron how that panned out for him..

Not the best videos IMO, both fighters, Frank and Lipsey left themselves wide open for the counter. Calzaghe is not a fighter who falls on the canvas face first if he misses...

The proper video for the Hopkins KO possibility is either the video of the short left hooks he landed on Winky or some good moments from the Tito fight. Maybe the Allen knockdown in the 3rd fight...

Anyways: of course B-Hop has the better chance for a clean KO but only if Joe gets overexcited and walks into something big...
