I never mentioned hopkins getting knocked out though.

Nobody is getting clean KO'd in this fight.

I don't think he's ever been clean KO'd. Knocked down once or twice a LONG time ago though.

Well... the same question was asked about Mayweather before the Ricky fight... one clean punch can knock everyone out. There's a huge difference between a quick Kessler uppercut and a strong Hopkins counter hook with his LHW body weight added to it... but opposite to Hatton, Calzaghe is very hard to hit CLEAN!

Man, just look at Hopkins' ****ing deadly precision. Once he stuns a guy, he'll land three or four punches as the guy is the on the way down. That's why he can make a guy stay down when he lands a clean knockdown. They get stunned, then punished while they're dazed.

He got put on his ass twice by some bum from Ecuador and Mills Lane broke his arm haha

KOs won't have nothing to do with this fight I shouldn't think......

Calzaghe and Hopkins have been on their asses the same amount of times....twice

Calzaghe has fought the bigger and taller guys more than Hopkins...and he's obviously not that hard tohit cos his nose is as flat as a pancake

Hopkins is never tired in the late rounds. He's a 15-round fighter. The guy lives for the Championship rounds. If anything, Hopkins will win moer of the second half of the fight. It's up to Joe to make sure he can win the early rounds.

I disagree....Hopkins has less power than Kessler who had the torso of a cruiserweight

Hey, Hopkins power was sufficent to discourage Tarver. Say what you want about Tarver, his chin is unquestionably sound. Yet, in the later rounds against Bernie, Antonio was flinching and just trying to avoid getting hit.
If anyone hurts anyone in Calzaghe -Hopkins, its more likely to be Joe getting buzzed.

Kessler staggered Joe with an uppercut, and that was whilst Joe was moving in on Mikkel, I can imagine that Hopkins chance is to sit down on his punches in this fight, he needs to catch Calzaghe coming in, counterpunch will be hard since Hopkins does not like to trade (view the Taylor fights). I think Bernard has a better uppercut than Mikkel Kessler. He's obviously not going to put him down for the full 10 count, but will he be able to land a monster uppercut followed by a right hand? I think so, I think he will have Joe Calzaghe on the deck if he hits him clean with such punches, and Joe will come up... but he will be staggered. Joe has been down before, he can be knocked down and be in trouble again.

What makes you think Calzaghe can't hurt Hopkins??? Joe walks around at 14 stone and has to lose weight to still make LHW....Hopkins was a MW for most his career.....
