Calzaghe/Hopkins II in the UK would be huge.

Hopkins should look to other fights, **** Calzaghe, why go to his home turf, he will never win a decision there, and he knows it. He's better off looking to fight Dawson, a fight that if he wins, might just make him P4P number 1.

I'm a British fan and I'd be supporting B-Hop - dont assume we'd all be supporting Calzaghe!

Calzaghe wont take the fight though - he's retiring after the RJJ fight - hes too scared of losing his precious "0" to fight on.

Check out a repeat of this afternoons "Bunces Boxing Hour" on Setanta Sports News. Nard said he would be at ringside next month calling JC out and if he didn't listen "all hell would break loose". He went on to say that he would knock out Calzaghe in Wales, Africa wherever....so he seems up for it. It was traditional in the past that champs who had titles taken off of them in a very close fight would be offered an immediate rematch, it seems like many things in the modern era manners mean **** all these days.

Hopkins talks rubbish. This was the guy lines up to fight Joe years ago then he backed out. Hopkins unlike JC has NEVER proved himself in a major fight abroad. I doubt he`ll grow a set in the next few months.

Sorry, but if Roy Jones Jr beats Joe Calzaghe then the money is in the Hopkins-Jones rematch.

im sure that performance put a lot of people on awe of him and proved how good calzaghe is:lol:
i bet fans left the fight rueing the fact that calzaghe didnt come over sooner after that performance

  8. Hopkins and Jones aren't the rivals Hopkins/Calzaghe are. That is a fight that deserves a rematch, especially in the UK. Hopkins/Jones wouldn't be that huge in the U.S. as much as Hopkins/Calzaghe would be in England.

If Calzaghe's last fight is in Wales it will be huge whoever the opponent, personally I would see Calzaghe vs. Froch than Calzaghe vs. Hopkins II.

Not even Joe's biggest fanboys could have enoyed the fight vs Hopkins. No american network will pay big bucks for the rematch. So i can't see how the fight would be huge.

if joe lost to jones jr,he would definatly fight jones and hopkins again as he would have nothing else to lose and lots of money to gain.

It would be boring - thats what it will be.

I respect Joe for not wanting to insult fight fans once more. Joe won the first fight 10-2 or so and would win this fight at least as clearly.

Dream on. Joe is the master adapter. Nothing Hopkins can do wins the fight.
